Undoubtedly the most iconic acoustic guitar shape, the Dreadnought is the prize workhorse among rock, country and bluegrass players. These guitars come into their own when strumming or flatpicking, and when it comes to unplugged volume, the Dreadnought truly lives up to its name. The large body design delivers solid highs and lows, producing a scooped tonality that sits perfectly with vocals and gives open chords an unparalleled depth.
While traditional features such as the dovetail neck joints are retained, the Westfield Dreadnought model features modern touches such as a comfortable “C” shape neck profile and NuBone® nut and saddle, bringing the best of old and new to this strummer’s stalwart.
The Westfield Artist series Dreadnought model is available with a solid spruce top for a crisp and dynamic tone or a solid cedar top that warms up the top-end for a richer tone. Cutaway body styles and cutting-edge Fishman electronics are optional, and each Artist series instrument ships with a premium padded gig bag.
A left-handed model is available.
